Hello Everyone, I observed a disturbing issue this afternoon where the BookSense would completely lock up after connected to the Bluetooth headset and reading a book for longer than about 30 minutes. The problem has been reproduced twice now; only completely removing, waiting 10 seconds and re-installing the battery solves the problem.
The following steps reproduce the exact problem: 1. Scan for and connect the BookSense to the Bluetooth headset so that audio is heard through the headset. 2. Open and begin reading any Bookshare file in the DAISY application. 3. Read for about 30 minutes. 4. At around that time, the BookSense will stop talking. 5. None of the controls on the BookSense will respond in any way. 6. Remove the battery, wait about 10 to 20 seconds and re-install the battery in the BookSense. 7. The BookSense returns to normal operation, but it is necessary to pair the headset once again. Does anyone else experience this particular issue or something similar? I hope it can be resolved soon, as I really enjoyed being able to read using a completely wireless headset for the first time.
