As often as WE gets updated I don't understand any effort on GW's part to create a script for notifying of updates. This also holds true for many of the other scripts currently available. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bob Tinney" <[email protected]>

I think that 7.1 is much faster and stable than 7.01. I have removed
scripts that I don't use and that has solved sluggish issues. One script
that I found annoying was the WE update script, so I removed it. I would
stick with 7.1.

Subject: Returning to WE7.01

I would like to return, on one of our pcs, back to We7.01 due to the speak
character issue as well as the sluggish clipboard action with one of the
scripts.

I have the users/default forlder in tact from 7.01 so the proper setfile
conversions are not a concern.

I presume, for starters, I *must* first uninstall 7.1 from that machine.
Must I then install 7.0 from the cd and then use the 7.01 upgrade file (I
have that also) or is there a simpler way of doing this?

Thanks for any guidance!!
