The firmware is definitely buggy in many units, but not in all. Join
the book sense discussion list for discussions about it which might help.

I have had a couple of lock-ups, but remove the battery for about a
minute and it will come back. Just remember that when you first put
the battery back in it will take a little longer to come on the first time.

Yeah, mine just did, 20 minutes ago, and it won't reset--not
good. I haven't even put anything on it. I just pushed the 8 to
delete something I recorded to test, and it locked up. It did
yesterday, and I was able to reset, but now, I can't--not happy.

Go into the music folder, find a file press delete key and change
your mind and answer no to the prompt to delete the file. Most of
the time that this is done the unit will lock-up.
