It is hard to say when the internet is involved sometimes IE does not want to
drop what it is doing, and move quickly on to something else. Sometimes when I
abruptly leave a website by closing IE it gives odd messages about needing to
close the next time I open it or it tries to reconnect with my last session.

True! But what do you think, when the system is running WinXP Pro, and have
4GB of Ram? Shouldn't be a matter of too little RAM, at least. It's even
running on a more or less brand new system, so CPU speed is not a factor here,
either (2x2.7GHZ).
What I seem to notice, is that the instability (loss of speech) seem to be
more frequent, if I Alt-Tab back and forth, from a website. In other words,
when the system has to pop in and out of browse mode.
I am not saying, this is the only time. Eloquence goes for his vacation, ever
so often, even when I am a bit too quick in switching back and forth in other
software as well. Only, it seems to happen a bit more frequent with browse mode.
OK, Eloquence is not a new synth - been around for a good chunk of years now.
Maybe,. he just ain't that young and drifty, any longer. All this skipping
around, might just cause him to have aches and pains; just like most of us...
:) (And I ain't even using Eloquence Grandpa, would you believe it? Wonder how
slow he is.) Ok, just have to put a smile to the whole matter. :)

not having enough physical memory or having too many applications open for the
amount of memory the system has.
