Replying to myself but have done the b... obvious and changed the delay time for the read status function attached to control-pageup/down keys. thought 5 would be enough, but no. Upped it to 20 and things work as they should.
I wouldn't have said Firefox 3.5 is obviously faster than version 3 but maybe it is. Ray Hello list. Have just upgraded to Firefox 3.5 which works fine but for the window status not reading propperly now. I control page up and control page down to cycle between open tabs but W-E reports the last tab I was on, not the current one. status hot key, control-ins-S usually just says "done" rather than reding the status.
