Hi well can not reproduce this with skype 4.1 on windows vista with 3gb of
ram. Might want to try updating skype to the latest production build and
see if your problems go away. Sorry this sounds more like a skype issue
then a window-eyes issue.

Subject: skype problem, I spoke with Raul on phone about this, reporting on
list

Hi list,

Anybody else having any sort of problem as follows. I'm using skype 3.8, xp
service pak 3, internet explorer 8, outlook express 6, skype script 2.71,
512mb ram.

On July 1, right after installing the updated weupdate script, it seems the
problem started. Raul believes this has nothing to do with the problem, so
I'm sure he's correct. However, in any case, that was the date it started.
I did not get any windows update on that date either.

Problem is as follows. After about the third call on skype the program
throws me off, that is, skype closes and sometimes I get a dialog box saying
something about skype out of memory. This problem never, never happened
before, using the same computer configuration. Again, skype just completely
closes on me.

I tested with Raul's advice, and did the following. I stopped all scripts
by going to window eyes control panel, alt-f, then the letter m, then enter
on scripting status, and selected off. All scripts turned off, and
apparently left the ram membory. I then went back to the same area and
chose to select scripting status to manual start.

I then turned on skype, made about five test calls to the testing service,
and absolutely no problem. Skype remained in memrory and was working.

After that I went to the actual scripts, turned on the we tool kit script,
which needed to be turned on first. I made a couple more skype test calls,
no problem.

Then I turned on the skype script and made another test call.

After the test call finished, skype dropped out, completely dumped me, as if
I had closed the program manually, which I didn't.

It left an away button in the system tray. When I clicked on it, that
button disappeared from the system tray, but skype was already gone. So it
seems to me that something is happening to me and the skype scripts. Any
ideas, duplication of this event.

Again, the problem started immediately on July 1, no change in my system, I
believe no change in the skype script either, that is I'm using the same
version of the skype script that I was using when I had no problem.

I hope this isn't too rambling. In a hurry.

Best and thanks,

Steve
