In order to get the announcements who comes on line, off line etc, you need
to press control shift windows key T. Noone hasever explained why this is
necessary but on my PC it is.

Install the scripts from Script Central. That should certainly fix your
first problem. Remember to tell Skype to allow the Window-Eyes script to
run. This is in the advanced section of the options dialog under tools.
Perhaps someone with a bit more time can give more detailed instructions
for doing this.

Skype. 1. announce contact status on or off line. 2. Automatically read
incoming chat conversation.
