Most amazing and incredibly fascinating thing happened with my
computer this past week. You can tell i am easily amused. That is
what I chose to feel instead of looking for the hammer every time the
computer chooses to remind me who is in charge. My sighted friends
always tell me to just click this. An I live to one day find and
click with all of my force this mysterious click.
Well, here is the issue:
I have WindowEyes 7.1 and Windows Vista.
Last week I installed Skype 4.1 and upgraded to WindowEyes
7.1. suddenly, Eudora began to react telling me when ever it pleased
that there is an error waiting in the task cue to be started for the
LMOS information. This is whether I keep Eudora open or closed at
least after using it once. Skype also tells me that there is a
script error and then tells me my choices are: stop, restart the
script or ignore the error. None of the choices really work either
in Eudora or Skype. I wait for the time to go to the bathroom, shut
down the computer and restart the whole thing telling myself I never
had any problem before this restart. Both Skype and Eudora work fine
without the errors if I started just either one of the programs. But
I assure you that in as many times as I have done this, if both are
on, all the errors take effect without fail. I haven't used Skype
for a long time since when it was introduced. But I have had Eudora
since the 90's and never experienced this error. It all happened
since I made the changes I mentioned above. If the errors do not
have anything to do with the particular software changes I made,
then, is the situation a rude coincidence or do we know? Is there
any answer, or, is this the way it is going to be?
Thanks and have a blessed weekend. All is well. After all, it's just
computers.
Solomon.
