Hi Gang,
Gotta problem. I'm using Kurzweil and windoweyes, both the latest
versions. It started crashing on me whenever I was scanning. I
tried to figure it out with no luck so I uninstalled and reinstalled
K 1000 and that didn't cure the problem. I think I finally found the
cause but wondered if anybody else has run into this and figured out
what was doing it. I finally discovered that just certain pages of a
certain book seems to be doing it. My wife looked at the pages that
would crash it and couldn't see anything different about them. Has
anybody run into anything like this and have you found out what might
be causing it? The only thing I was doing while reading that book
was to try to get a pronyunciation of a word changed. I don't know
if I might have done something to cause that. I haven't done that
much and wasn't too familiar with it. The word that was reading
wrong was 011ie which I changed to Ollie. Sorry about the length of this.
