Hi All,
Seriously, although I'm certainly not complaining, I can't help
but wonder what happened. I mean, I am now able to edit what I'm
writing in a form with browse mode turned off.
I usually read my email in the evening with one of my note
takers, so thus didn't really notice this working until I used WE
with the weather script this morning to check the current weather
conditions, and then decided to open up IE 8 to check the status
of an online order I had recently placed. And, when I was able
to move the left and right arrows over the email address I used
to log into the site and hear what I had written without turning
browse mode back on, I kind of wondered if it was just a fluke.
Then, I went to a couple of other sites, including the En-Vision
America site I spoke of the other day, and I could complete the
narrative on their contact form, using arrow and backspace keys
in the form with no problem. I then restarted my computer, just
to make sure, and I was still able to read and edit what I had
written while still having browse mode off.
I'm not sure what happened, although I did notice some updates
from Microsoft; however, be it GW or Microsoft, I am certainly
pleased with this recent development.
