Reg,

I've seen what you describe happen occasionally on my XP system. If this is a frequent event, you may find the Kill Wineyes script from Script Central of particular interest. See its description for details and usage instructions.

Best regards,
Steve

Hi all

On my XP Pro machine, unsurprisingly, if I press alt+control+w when W-E
is running, it tells me that "Window-Eyes is already running". So far
so good. However, if I shut down W-E successfully with
Control+insert+F4, and then press alt+control+w, nothing happens, and
I'm left without a screen reader and have to restart the PC. Any ideas?
