Hello. This is a current known issue of the BookSense which we hope to have fixed in the next release of the firmware. We are testing this firmware release and so far, things are looking very nice. We'll announce on our lists when the new firmware is available.

Many thanks.

I have been unable to set marks with the BookSense in some older NLS
books.
Example: Bendigo Shafter by Louis La'Mour.
This book was originally recorded for cassette distribution.
As a digital book, they have it set up so there is only one heading to
jump to--at the beginning of the main story of the book.
I seem to be only able to set one mark.
When I press 1 to set a mark, I hear:

Mark 1 exists at current phrase

I am unable to set additional marks. If I delete the mark, then I can
set one mark; however, I cannot accurately move to this mark.
Also, in this book, pressing 0 to here the current position in the book
gives a different amount of time depending whether or not the book is
playing or paused.

Has anyone else seen this type problem with older NLS books and the
BookSense?
I would also like to hear from the GW staff if this is a known issue.
This is very important to me as I plan to read a lot of NLS books with
the BookSense--and I need to be able to keepp my place when I change
books and return to what I was reading.
