Hi: Since this is a new laptop, have you tried to update the drivers for the sound card?

I have a slight delay from when I push a key and hear the sound of WE. I have the word mode on so hear the sound after I hit the space bar or punctuation. It was the same when I had the individual letter mode on. Also, when I hold down control and use the right or left arrow, there is a slight delay. The delay is just enough to slow down my work. Is there a parameter in WE that can be set to speed up the response? --Bob Ringwald K6YBV [email protected] Fulton Street Jazz Band 916/806-9551 Check out our latest recording at www.ringwald.com/recordings.htm 'If you don't read the newspaper you are uninformed.
