Ok, can you see any grapical character around where it says vhs?
If you use your mouse movement keys, control-shift- 4 or 6,
or 2 and 8 to move up down or left right, you might see those check
and un-checked graphics.
YOu could use the graphics label dictionary to label these.
Does the color change?
You might define a hyperactive window to test and say checked or unchecked.

In an options dialogue, there is a checkbox for VHS. WE just says
VHS. It is a checkbox because I have confirmed this with sighted
help. If I press space bar, this item is checked as confirmed with
sighted help. I wanted this item to read correctly so I attempted
to use the reclass hot key. I got a message that a standard control
cannot be reclassed.
If this cannot improve that key, what else should I do?
