Absolutely spot on, Peggy!
Thanks so much for this. You might not be able to do everything, I
don't know, but it did everything I wanted to do much more quickley,
easily and simply.
Thanks again
John

I've found that the mobile site for Facebook works better with screen readers:

I sometimes have problems on the regular site, when I try to type my
status; I can't always find the update or share button, or whatever
it is. But responding to friend requests and comments and stuff
seems to work well on the mobile site.
Hope this helps.

Subject: Help with Facebook please
Hi All
Facebook seems to have changed, because I know my system hasn't.
I'm using WE 7.01 on a laptop running XP Pro SP3. I'm using Firefox
which is up-to-date as far as I know. I seem to be able to view my
Facebook account and write comments, but when I try to, for
example, respond to a friend request nothing happens. So, at the
moment I have six friend requests and I don't seem to be able to accept them.
What used to happen is that I'd find the friend request, press
space on the accept button and a little ok or cancel dialog would
pop up. I often had to turn browse mode off and on again, but I
managed after a fashion. I could tell I'd done something because
that friend request either went away or said loading the next time
I looked at the request page. But now, when I press space on the
accept button nothing seems to happen and the request stays the
same. I've tried pressing space, pressing enter then space, routing
the mouse to the cursor and pressing the left mouse button, but nothing works.
Any help gratefully received
John Ramm
