Hi List, Ken here. I was online this afternoon with Window-eyes and had
just finished what I was doing, So signed off of AOL, and went to
window-eyes to shut it down and left the computer running with the idea of
coming
back after Dinner to go to GSN to register for the game they play in the 5:00
Hour. Imagine my surprise when I touched the keys and brought up Jaws Here
was Dectalk speaking. Window-eyes hadn't shut down. Part of that was
likely I hit the OK button to fast, and didn't let it finish it window-eyes
exit speech. But this was 22 minutes later and I'm sure the demo was going
to time out anyway. It was repeating the shutdown expiration warning, but
shouldn't Window-eyes just have shut down by itself five minutes after the
warning? It had to be continuing for at least 14 or 15 minutes after it
should have expired. Any thoughts on what kooky thing was or maybe wasn't
happening? Ken.
