Once you do a "Forward Message" command, usually with Ctrl-f from the open
message, or once you "Reply", usually Ctrl-r, or "Reply to All", usually
shift-Ctrl-r from the open message, you will find that you are free to edit both
the sender's and your own added message at will, including a complete deletion
of everything in the message field. So, in brief, you can't edit a received
message, unless you save it and then edit the save. But you can edit any kind
of reply or Forwarded message.

Hope that helps.

Hi:
If you want to forward attachments without forwarding the actual
