Hi,
We already have Talks and Mobile Speak, plus Apple's working on
access for the Iphone and the coming of Orator for the Blackberry. I
say in agreement, let GW Micro deal with the ongoing challenge of
making and keeping Window Eyes first rate and keeping tech support
as it should be. I hae to wonder how many screen readers for phones
do some of you want. Many phones now speak at least some of their
frunctrilons right out of the box--phones not designed specifically
for us. I realizae that this is no replacement for Talks, Mobile
Speak or Orator. But I have to say that this indicates as much or
more choice than computer users have, or at least, promises to in
rather short order.

Office. Their major competition has had support for MS Access for
a number of years. Is that support perfect? No! But at least it's there.

While I'm a unabashed fan of GWMicro, I don't think that they
have near the resources to do everything that we would want. In
other words, they can't be everything to everybody. While I
think that they could do a great job with a cell phone type of
screen reader application, I think that they should stick to what
they know best. There are many people on this list that spend
countless posts complaining on what they would like GWMicro to be
able to do with Window Eyes in the work place, adding a cell
phone application would even be more taxing to their limited resources.
I would rather see them concentrate on doing what they know best
and not see them try and reinvent the wheel.

But then we hear all this crap about the magnification needs, so heres
a better idea.
What if gw made a window-eyes program for mobel phones, but with
speech and magnification all in one!

other than these screen magnifers. Sorry if there are any screen
magnifer users out there but it's just what I think. I might submit a
request for that poduct service in the future. They could have a
window-eyes mini as an additional rate of 100$ or 200$s added on to
your original purchase or individually at x amount of dollars An
update would be great all the way around personally.
