OK, this is really really driving me nuts! Using the demo of W E 7.1, I plugged in my IPod Nano 4th Gen and went into the new ITunes 9.0. I then in the sources list, went to my IPod, and then went to the music tab. I set the radio button to the second option to sync certain playlists, genres, etc. If I then tab, I do get the multi select box to check the playlists to sync, but then, I get a search options button, and past that, and edit box to basically type my search criteria. Past that is a multi select box showing all the artists I can check/uncheck based off my search query. The odd thing however is, a friend of mine, managed to somehow get the check boxes to only sho the list of genres in his library. I cannot, and neither can he, figure out what the heck he is doing to make those show up instead of artists. I've tried hitting both enter as well as space bar on the search options button, and even have routed the mouse pointer, then did a left click, but hitting that button doesn't seem to do anything. It'll work if I'm in the music source up in the sources list, but it won't if I'm in the music tab under my IPod. Of corse, it won't work for my friend either. It just happened that his is showing genres, where mine's showing artists. I just wanna know how the bizarre heck he did that! Please, if any one knows, I beg of you! Let me know. This is undoubtedly not fully a W E problem either, as trying with both jfw10, and jfw11 public beta, I'm also having this issue. Apple has no idea. They said just click the button. I told them I did, nothing's happenning. They then just say, well then, sorry, we can't help you, get a sighted person to do it for you. I'm like, o gr'r'rate! So, have a sighted person come over and click a mouse, then turn around and go 10 miles back home within 2 seconds later. Yeah, that's real? ingenious! folks? N'not? Chris.
