Hi Scott and all

I'm using Windows Live Mail with Cobra 8.1 from Baum Retec, Germany.

To send/receive emails you have to press Tools/Synchronize or
Tools/Synchronize all emails - F5. It's strange, but it's so. To send emails
press alt+s. The menu items are like or similar to Outlook Express / Windows
Mail or MS Outlook.

I didn't try WLM with Window-Eyes 7.1 yet. With Cobra the program is
working quite well. Thunderbird isn't used frequently in Europe. I'm
wondering what the blind will use once Windows 7 has been released.

Kind regards,

Luciano Ortelli

If you already have a flash drive or SD card, simply go to your desktop
and
copy the entire contents of your WindowEyes CD to the flash drive or SD
card.
Next put the flash drive or SD card in the netbook, open windows explorer,
go to that drive and run the setup program.
It will be called setup or install or something else obvious. I don't
have
my CD handy to confirm the exact name of the file.
This will install WE on your netbook exactly as if you had done it from
the
CD and you will not need the flash drive or SD card in the machine any
longer.

Subject: Got a netbook

Hi, all. My husband and I just got a netbook tonight; it's a Toshiba,
not
sure what kind. My question is about installing Window-Eyes on it. We
talked about buying a portable CD ROM to use, but my husband was concerned
that we wouldn't use it for anything else. My husband has a CD/DVD
machine
that connects to the desktop computer via USB, and he thinks it will read
computer CD's, so we're going to try plugging that into the netbook to see
if we can install from that. If for some reason we can't, is there any
other way to install WE onto the netbook without spending another $70? I
know there's the thing where you can run WE from a flash drive or
something,

which I've never done. Will that allow me to install it and keep it on a
netbook without always having to keep a flash drive plugged in? Any info
you guys can give would be awesome.

Peggy
