Greetings:

If you have MS Outlook the calendar will do what you need it to do. I
haven't tried Windows Mail that comes with Vista yet, but it too has a
calendar feature.

If you leave Outlook running in the background, minimized, it will have a
chime pop up when you reach an appointment. I would suggest going into the
mail options to turn off notification of new incoming messages so you are
not distracted by those alerts.

>From within Outlook Press control+shift+A. note that this is the same hot
key that WE uses as the default for MSAA mode. So you can either re-define
the key or use the insert+B bypass hot key before pressing control+shift+A.

This Outlook keyboard command calls up the appointment dialogue. You can
title the appointment read chapters 17 and 18, or what ever makes sense to
you. Don't worry about the location. Then you tab through the other fields,
entering date, time and the end of the session. There is a checkbox for a
reminder. You can check this box and set a five minute reminder or what ever
time you need to wind up that portion of your study session.

I use my Outlook calendar at both home and at work for these types of
reminders. It works very nicely.

Vic

Subject: schedule

Hi every one. Does anyone know where I can get an accessible schedule maker?
I am trying to make a schedule for myself but I want the computer to let me
know when the time is up for something. I want to use it for my text books
when I am reading them. Or when I am studying for a test. I want to be able
to make a schedule like read for one hour, for one of my text books and then
start on another with a notification to let me know when one hour is up.
This is because I will get to into the text book that I will not notice the
time, and I do not want to be stopping and looking at the time because this
will take up time. This can also help when I am at school because if I am
reading and I have a class to go to it will let me know that I should stop
and go to class without me having to stop every time and look at the time.
So if anyone knows of anything like this please let me know. Thank you
