If you use this key combination you will be able to turn off and on the
touch pad (func+f3).

I wish it were that easy but it isn't.  We have Asus eepc netbooks.  No the
elanteh (hope that's spelled right) isn't in the sys tray.  Where do we find
this thing?  I for one would like some straight and specific answers on this
one.  It sometimes gets a little annoying not to be able to permanently shut
the touch pad off.
