I agree with you with regard to the laptop layout being awkward. That is why
I purchased an external keypad and changed the layout to the default
setting. It has made a great difference.

Hi all
Just wondering, but does anyone know if GW Micro plan on redoing the WE
laptop layout, maybe for the next version? I am just asking because I
really wonder how popular the current layout is. I remember that there was
a discussion once on laptops with numpads, and I myself don't really like
the current we laptop layout, having tried to get used to it, so I am
guessing that it might not be that popular with other people either? I
don't like the whole idea of having to often press many keys at once to
operate the mouse and, I don't know if its just because I have been using
another screen reader which just used a modified key and one extra key
that for some reason this layout seems a bit ilogical to me?
