As far as changing to advanced menus: Control backslash to open the window-eyes control panel
Alt-L for global settings The first option says beginner menus Press enter Arrow down to advanced and press enter to select it. I'm new to the list. I'm a jaws user but trying very hard to learn window eeyes. I've been using the latest demo. 7.11 I think. I've got my syncbraille 20 up and running. I've also gotten most of the voice settings the way I like them. I've chosen to have words announced as I type them. When I am on the desktop and I press o for outlook express, WE says o before saying outlook express. What setting can I change so I do not hear letters before the names of icons? Also, how do I change this? My menus are at the beginner level right now. I've also downloaded and am slowly going through the tutorial that was on the gw website. One final question, I have the latest manual on my voice sense in text and would like to read about the laptop layout and what keys are used for various commands.
