Okay here's the answer to your question from my point of view, which
is better? Thunderbird. Why? Because Thunderbird is undergoing
continual development and refinement whereas Eudora is - to pardon the
expression - old hack, development ceased on the software quite some
time ago so if any changes take place, say new operating systems
emerge or if bugs appear or conflicts happen - or even if new
standards arise in the way you send/receive email - then Thunderbird
will be updated to reflect those.
