Following on from the discussion about Eudora and email clients that
work with Windows 7 I think it is important to be aware of the fact that
there are now two editions of Eudora in existence. The original Eudora
developed by Qualcomm is still available at www.eudora.com. Development
of this edition of Eudora has stopped at version 7.1x. However Eudora 8
is an open source program that is still being developed and is available
from https://wiki.mozilla.org/Eudora_Releases. I liked Eudora 7.1x but
I found the interface of Eudora 8 hard to understand. This isn't a
criticism of the program but the interface simply didn't appeal to me.
So there are now two programs called eudora but they have very different
interfaces and Eudora 8 is based on the Thunderbird email client but
also has some features that are in Eudora that was developed by Qualcomm.
I hope this helps.
