Hi,
Yes, the braillenote works fine as a braille display. You do need to
use the serial cable which came with the braillenote to connect to your
computer as it is a null-modem cable, so a standard serial cable won't
work, but the display works really well.
Also, you need to turn on the bn and set it for terminal mode and select
serial as the port prior to selecting the bn as the braille display from
within the we control pannel.
The display can also be set up to use bluetooth, but that's a bit more
tricky so you're better off starting with a serial connection and then
go to bluetooth once you're familiar with how the bn and window-eyes
work together.
