Hi, Try re-installing video support. I had that issue once and that cleared it up.

I have been forced to undertake a complete software re-build of an IBM thinkpad, installing XP patches and service packs. Unfortunately the original drivers' discs have been lost, we have downloaded all necessary drivers from the net for the Lenova R40 E machine. Without an installation of WE ver 6.0 the machine appears to behave as it should with no crashes. When We is installed, a little more than every once in a while, say one in 18 reboots, the machine crashes with the proverbial blue screen. This happens just after the Loading XP appears on the screen, but well before the login screen. The error message is page fault in non page area, with what I guess is the address where the crash occurred. If We is removed, the problem goes away as far as we can tell. Nothing about this crash appears in the log files i've been assured, can you offer some guidance as to what we might do to get a sound installation ov WE. Could this be something to do with D C M? Can I provide any further info which could help? Should we be looking for older video drivers? Many Thanks, Joe Paton If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
