Hi!

Was wondering if other users of Total Recorder Professional 8.0 and Window-Eyes are experiencing the same behavior as I have been.

I upgraded the product yesterday but in some respects I wish I hadn't as it seems that accessibility to the product is going backward slightly so I sincerely hope that what I'm experiencing now with access to the software isn't a sign of possible things to come in later versions.

Firstly, the menu system is extremely unresponsive here, for example press the alt-f shortcut to get into the "File Menu", Window-Eyes says "Context menu" so you're left wondering what menu you're actually in? Naturally, everyone knows that alt-f will bring you to the "File Menu" but too bad if you're one of these people who just press the "Alt" key to bring up the menu system? Here's where you'll find things perhaps a little frustrating as the menu system doesn't seem to read one item at a time, when you press the down arrow key for instance, silence is heard, press it again and Window-eyes announces the first option in the menu when you're actually on the second option, very odd indeed!

I've found some other odd things in the software but its nothing I can't cope with, I'll have to re-do all my graphic dictionaries again for all the various graphics that come up to indicate enabled and disabled jobs in the scheduler, that sort of thing so thank Goodness that task is an easy one - I better not speak too soon there, was an easy one in previous versions of Total Recorder <smile>. -.
