Hi David,

I believe it would be a relatively easy script to write.

there is a script available right now, which may meet your needs as it is.
it brings up all available windows when you press a hotkey, and puts them
in a list for you to choose from. it's called "activate window", and it
would allow you to see how many and which windows were available to you,
instead of you having to alt-tab through them all.

hth,

Chip

Subject: ALT-TABbing through your open windows

Would it be possible to implement, either in WE itself, or by a script, the
feature to have the different open windows, on the Alt-Tab list, indexd by
number?

What I am asking, is that when you Alt-Tab, through the list, you would hear
things like: Notepad 1 of 3, My folder 2 of 3, Window-Eyes 3 of 3. The NVDA
screen reader has this feature, which I find comes in handy every now and
then. Of course, this could be a feature that easily could be turneed on/off
by the user.
