Well if you are really that worried about it just put your browser in a sand box and then you will not have to worry. Also a good idea if you're running windows 7 is to create a system image that way if you run in to a problem you can always use that system image to recover your computers settings with no problem. I also agree considering the fact it comes from gw micro it probably is safe to go there.
