Hi all Great to be back on the list after a few years due to technical difficulties with list issues that seemed not to be solvable.
still using Window-Eyes 4. Professional, hope to update soon to the latest but in any case, any Avast users can Avast be configured to Work with Window-Eyes and if so how? Not sure if replies should be sent to me or the list ro avoid clutter, etc. I remember I had Norton confugired in 01-02 but when I asked the person who did it to again do it when I updated Norton in 04-0 he said he hadn't worked with it for a time and his knowledge was rusty and this proved frustrating so now I'm on Avast I wondered if Avast! could be and hwo so it could be done for me thanks. Not sure about Avast detecting malware, probably can but all I've had so far was it tellign me when it detects certain attachments saying very suspicious, I notiec it freezes the system and the only way I can get out is by exiting Outlook Express and then it is tab key friendly as I delete but only once it actually allowed me to delete while still in O.E. so not sure if configuring with WE. will solve this as it did with Norton when I could do actions without exiting O.E. The Avast anti virus program says that it is able to detect all sorts of malware spyware etc. I am currently trying out Malware bytes and it is pretty accessible with Window-eyes. However, I don't want to purchase it if the Avast program will take care of scanning for this kind of malware. Avast users, please write me off list so as not to clutter up the list.
