Hi Everyone,

Thanks so much for all the messages I've gotten about SoundTaxi.

I should have mentioned, that I was very successful at converting an entire folder of files to mp3 format. Some of these files were .wma, and some of them were .wav. I was impressed at the conversion speed, as there were over 60 files in that folder. SoundTaxi put the entire folder that they were in, called Church Services, all in a folder called "convert.

It's just the CD wripper that I can't use.

I did wrip a CD with the DVD wripper, however.

Also, it's way mouse intensive, and I can't get to any options or tools to make any settings for conversion, so I have no clue what bit rate these files were converted at.

I'll try to call them or email them, and tell them they need to make this program more accessible with speech.

I guess there are a lot of JAWS users that are using this program, but I'm not buying that program. It does work a little better with another screen reader, but I sure wish it worked with Window-Eyes. <smile>

If any one has any more suggestions or can offer any more assistance with this program, I would be so very grateful, please.

Thank you very much.

Pat Ferguson, Loving Window-Eyes.

Subject: Sound Taxi and Window-Eyes help please

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to wrip a CD with SoundTaxi, using Window-Eyes. I can't seem to get it to wrip, and when I do the controlincert B it says Progress zero Percent. I just did an alt-tab to that window, and the progress indicator made it's sound, and said "zero percent." These SoundTaxi programs are very mouse intensive, but I don't mind, if I could just figure these out with Window-Eyes.

Any help is greatly appreciated, please.

Thanks much.

Pat Ferguson
