Hi Bud,

both xp and vista have ways to show you the printers installed on your
system; I'll skip over getting there in hopes you know how.

once you're in the list of printers, you can right click the one you want to
be the default printer; if it's not the default printer, there will be a
menu choice named something like "set as default".  just choose it, and it
will do exactly what you want.

if your application is running at the time you do this, you may have to
restart it in order for it to see the new default printer.

Hi Gang,

I don't suppose this is connected with wineyes, but does anybody know how to
set it so when you press control p to print something that it will go to the
right printer.  I can arrow up to the printer, but it won't stay there for
the next time.  There must be a way of indicating which printer to use but
it's beyond.  Any suggestions, and sorry to put it here but don't know what
else to do.
