I have noticed that on the PlexTalk that the algorithm when reading books at a faster rate is not nearly as smooth as on the Stream or Book Sense. Changing speeds requires a lot more sounds, e.g. beeps for each change, and then the button announces "speed" each time you change it. I noticed this in a demonstration podcast of all 5 devices for reading NLS material on the blind cool tech web site.

Just curious, have you used all three players?
Does the plextalk compare favorablly to the others when playing music files?
I'd say the Victor is definitely superior to the Booksense when it comes to music, but I own both and also like the Booksense strictly as a bookreader.
I haven't heard or used the Plextalk Pocket however.
