Hi Everyone,
I have run in to a problem using wevideo711 that I did not have with wevideo70 or earlier. There are two scenarios here with the same results: 1. When upgrading from wevideo70 and 2. Installing wevideo 711 on a machine that has never had wevideo installed on it. In both cases, with few exceptions, I am getting the WindowEyes has encountered an unexpected DCM error when I try to run Window-eyes from either my thumb drive or a server. I called GW and they gave me several possible causes like video drivers, corrupt files, and recommended I use the cd to uninstall Windoweyes which is not practical. Instead, I installed wevideo711 on a machine that I know never had a copy of wevideo installed on it with the same results. These machines are Dell 620's running Windows xp pro sp3. They are approximately three years old. I could go back to v71 and use wevideo 70 if I have to but that would be a challenge too as far as time goes but, if that is the only answer I will. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks -Steve If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
