Hello. We discussed this via phone, but I wanted to answer it here in case others want this information.

When you are in Outlook, press control-backslash to reach the Window-Eyes panel. Next press alt-g for general and then down arrow to the graphic dictionary. Press enter and then up arrow to off and press enter one last time. Now save your set and the graphic descriptions will be turned off. Note that this makes it so the message status is not read.
