I think this might be my fault. A few weeks back I was working with Jamal on some database problems with the homer script, and I added that debugging statement if the homer script was not able to set up it's error reporting; but I forgot to have it say which script wasn't able to setup error reporting.
I only meant it to be there temporarily when I sent it to Jamal, and it had never failed to work properly for me, so I was never getting the error message. Jamal is pretty busy, that's why I was doing this, but you could write to him and let him know you're having this issue. the only thing I can think of that would cause it would be if you did not have the GW ToolKit script running? Unfortunately I don't "won" the homer script on script central, so I can't just go in and fix it. but if you've got GWToolKit running, and Jamal isn't able to spare the time to work on this, then write me off list and I can send you a version at least that takes out the spoken error message. hth, Chip -----Original Message----- From: Peggy Kern [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, December 09, 2009 8:34 PM To: GW Micro Subject: Unable to set error reporting? Hi, all. Within the last few days, when booting up both my netbook and desktop, Window-Eyes has started to say "unable to set error reporting". What does this mean, and if it's a problem, how can I fix it? It works fine; it just says this new cryptic message.
