Jim,

I've noticed this to. you can try the command of control shift M to read
the selected text; it's not as good as having it read automatically I know,
but it might help out when it's not working.

Subject:

question about selecting text when selecting text, a letter, or a word,
or line, can I get window-eyes to say what I am selecting as I am selecting
it, in all programs?
because right now, if I press a F2 to edit a file name, and I want to select
a part of the name, window-eyes does not say it! but if I select any thing
like in this email message, window-eyes will say it.
