Hi all:

I am attempting to make a powerpoint with a few musical clips and other things
such as movies so as to learn for myself exactly how to use both programs well.

My first question is to do with powerpoint, and the timings. I set the timings
for the slides, hit save, and it says the timing for this slideshow is 00025.
Do you want to keep the new timings?

Upon hitting yes, then changing the file to a .pps extention, I play the file,
and the music on slide 1 plays on and on, without switching to any other slide.
My question is, is there some sort of edit box that you can type the timing for
each individual slide, and also how do you scroal from slide to slide changing
the timings on each one?

When I save everything, close it, and go to reopen it again, it says it is only
44 kb. I have music and moovies on it, so struggle to see how it could be so
small.

To then inport it to a movie, I know I have to tell the computer to save each
individual slide as it's own jpeg file. I also know it will then sort them into
a directory of it's own creation.

However, what I am not clear on is how to import, and then edit them from
there.

Please note: this pc is using windows xp.

Please use real simple language, as I am not good on the computer, but am good
at following simple instructions.

If necessary, and at all possible, record and send your responses to me that
way, so I can do each key stroke as they are said to me.

Your help is hugely appreciated.

Cheers, Blake.
