This is not true. In the TB case WE is speaking what comes through
MSAA which isn't changing when you change what columns to show in
TB. Mozilla knows about this already. In the desktop case WE is
getting this information directly from the control ignoring what is visible.

With my screen resolution at 1280 by 1024 the good news is that the
graphic is at X 1271 Y 121. However, the bad news is that WE does
not read whether the option is checked or not. The very bad news
is that even if the item, e.g. date, is not showing on the message
header, WE will still read it.
So, it appears that users of Thunderbird are stuck with listening
to a lot of info which is not required.
