Sun really broke the user interface in Virtual Box 3.1, so it's not
usable at the moment even with the help of the QT Support script. The
last version with a graphical UI known to work is from the 2.1 branch.
With that said, you can also look under the help system and read up on
how to configure, start, and stop virtual machines completely on the
command line via the VBoxManage command.
