Hi Chad, you can disable something called "aero", which are the fancy visual effects for 3d windows with shadows, etc. I don't remember how to do it under vista, and I know you've got windows 7 which may be different, so google this topic and see what you turn up. it will make a slight difference for you, while there's nothing else that will (built into Windows anyway). hth, Chip
