In conjunction with my article about Windows Registry, I want to let you know
of two online scanners, that are quite accessible. These are system scanners,
so they will do far more than the Registry cleaning, and might not be yet as
thorough on the Registry clean up, as a locally installed cleaner. Yet it is a
good second alternative, instead of having to buy several scanners. You might
wnat to buy, and install, one cleanign software, and run this for daily use.
Occationaly you will want to do a scan with one of the online cleaners, and
here are two choices.
BitDefender:

Microsoft OneCare:
http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm?s_cid=sah/?s_cid=sah
beware that both of these wil need you to install an ActiveX - a small piece of
software, that lets your PC communicate with the online cleaner. Also, keep in
mind, they will likely take from one hour and up, for doing one cleanup of your
system.
