Tyler and list,

I'm just replying to say that I tried the suggestion below, but was told that the video support had already been installed. At this point, I'll have to find out the exact video card on board the machine and go find a possibly more up to date driver and hope that helps. At this point, the computer simply crashes when trying to start it up. No problem running the system after uninstalling Window-Eyes. At the moment, all we have is a paper weight. The correct driver might result in nothing less than a transubstantial miracle :).

Hey, at least the thing actually runs after an entire year of sitting in my closet.
