I also get this problem when I go to a page through my favourites.

Just to add to Bob's message. When I attempt to load a local .html file on my computer, I get the sound out of hell, and the dialog that says internet explorer cannot locate c:\documents and settings\.... etc., etc. Make sure you have entered the url correctly and try again. Nevertheless, the html file does load and I'm able to read it. I can tab to that dialog box and click the ok button to clear it.

Also, and possibly more important to know, when I attempt to open a local .rtf file, I loose speech and have to reboot. To be very specific, twice I lost speech, the tthird time I managed to get speech back. The time I managed to get speech back without a reboot was when I opened that .html file before opening the .rtf file. But in all three instances, I wasn't able to read the rtf document. My computer read the title of the doc, but that was all I could read of it.

So for now I've unloaded the progress indicator script.

Hi,

I have noticed that with version 1.7, most of the time, web pages do not
complete loading using Internet Explorer. If I stop the progress script, IE
behaves normally.

FireFox seems to work normally with the script running.
