Well the info below is almost true. You can delete the Folders index
file under identities if you are having some trouble with your folder
structure.
 
Outlook Express will re-create this index file when it is started again.
If there are sub folders they will not be deleted, but they will all be
at the same level as the default folders IE: Inbox, Deleted Items, Sent
Items, etc. Any newly created sub folders will have to be moved back
under their original location if you want to maintain the same
structure.
 
In addition you might end up with duplicate folders with a digit tacked
on to the name. You can then delete the one you don't want.

Some one in the past suggested to fix a problem in outlook express, you
could search for a dbx extension or file, delete it, restart your
computer and outlook express, and this dbx file or extension would
reinstall itself.  Correct or not?
If so, what is the exact name of the file, would not want to delete the
wrong one. (smile)
