Appareantly, Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail are not the same. The
program I was using was Windows Live Mail. I had adapted enough to it
that I could check messages and send messages, although all my messages
had links removed from them. I tried to make adjustments to get the
links to work, but only succeeded in getting Window-Eyes not to read any
of the messages. Anyway, I have, on suggestion from someone from the
group, switched to Thunderbird. Although there is a slight learning
curve, I am successfully using Thunderbird and it performs reasonably
well. Thank you for the suggestion.
