Hi Carol and list
I would like to know the answer to your question about Thunderbird. I quit
using it because too much info was given when I just wanted to, subject,
read or not read and date.
I think my Thunderbird is 2.? I hear people talking about 3.0, but I can't
find that.
Any help with the inbox mail info would be appreciated.
Brenda

Subject: Thunderbird verbosity
I am used to Outlook Express. When I arrow through the email list, I get
way more info than I need. The mouse pointer only reads the subject, from
and date fields. Would it be possible to have the same thing in the list
view with the arrow keys? Right now, mine reads subject, from, date and
time arrived in inbox, time arrived on server, read or forwarded or reply
icon, my email address and my user account name, the file size, plus one
other number, reading somewhere in the millions. I would really like it if
I could arrow down and have only the status icon, from subject and time
read. I can silence the speech before I move to the next entry, but if I
don't, I have to read it a second time as I am having trouble with speech
interrupting when moving from one item to the next or after pressing enter
on a message. Thanks in advance for any help.
Carol
