Are you serious? Wow!
In this age of security, and technologey for sure being at the front
of it, (nevermind the security found in Airports) although that's for
sure huge, look at the security in Windows these days. Although,
because Video Intercept (and likewise) the DCM (display Chaining
Manager) components in previous versions of JAWS, were based upon XP
days surely you folks on this list recall DCM?
Even with DCM, things were still a nightmair!
Never forget DCM!
Freedom claimed driver compatibilitey between other products, but
seriously, if you ask me, GW is the most powerful and stable on the
market today.
If anyone wishes to discuss this more or less, please by all means,
feel free to email me off-list.
To do so, address an email to the address from witch this mail came
from, and please title the subject "Driver-Signing" (without the
quotes.)
I know that GW Micro does not wish this list to be a "JAWS discussion
hideout" or whatever, however despite all this, I have not seen Doug,
or Aaron, raise a hand against this discussion.
Personally, I like to see what you customers/users think of what I
pointed out above, and this all stems back to even those GW Micro blog
entries where Doug discussed driver signing.
Doug: if anyone is to blaim for starting this, it is me. Although the
idea that enspired me to begin this post was your articles, not to
mention this new years FS Cast.
I hope that the rest of you enjoied this discussion, but I do see the
need to end it at least publically.
People however (as mentioned above) are free to email me as mentioned.
However, because I prefer to do voice-chatting as well, you may add me
to Skype, you may do so as well.
My Skype ID is skypedude1234
Hope to see you soon in the land of Voice-chat (and no) I do not use
AIM's voice-chatting, GoogleTalk, or Yahoo/MSN for talking. I do do
Windows Live typing though, and am frequently found on there.
To obtain that information, you can add me to Skype, because that
information is found in my Skype profile.
I am not about to give that other email address out (because) I'm
trying to keep the spam targeted to this primary one.
Have fun, talk to the rest of you soon, and I just wanted to tell you
all how much I Appreciate and value all your feedback!
Sincerely,

--Keith
